POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS

Em-Broadcast (EMB) is ideally suited to reach into targeted political districts. Recipient data can be isolated by zip code.

The typical "kinds" of email messages we typically deliver are:

  1. General "issue" messages that are explaining the positions the candidate is taking. These messages are usually sent to the entire database.
  2. Regional "appearance" messages are used to promote attendance at an event. This is usually sent to a targeted geographic area, such as an individual county, or a group of recipients within a 30-mile radius.
  3. Press Release (PR) messages are sent to media or "follower" lists.
  4. Rapid-Response messages are used to "reply" to a competitor accusation or comment. These are usually short, and highly targeted.

EMB is highly experience at developing and managing lists of recipients for political campaigns.

  1. Previous Openers of messages database within the state(s) or any other area we can define by zip codes.
  2. Gross database represents the remaining recipients, within that geographic area, who have not previously opened a message, but have not bounced.
  3. Unique Geographic lists are created to target recipients for a special appearance or for a special issue. These are typically defined by a county, a radius around a location, or a congressional district.
  4. The Multi-Openers of emails sent within the campaign area. This list accumulates over the series of emails. It is defined by any recipient who has opened more than one broadcast and has not unsubscribed. This data is usually delivered to the client at the end of the contract.
  5. The Campaign "Internal" list is any group of emails supplied by the campaign. We do not integrate the campaign's "internal" lists into our master database. Their data remains uniquely theirs.
  6. The Press List is any accumulated or purchased list of professional media outlets within the campaign area.
  7. The "Unsubscriber" list this list is maintained to document which individual recipients specifically opt-out of the email broadcasts and is used to "block" any future broadcast.

EMB will work with the campaign consultants on content and messaging strategy. Typically, this involves participation in conference calls and direct interfaces with the political consultants and production staff.
